Sandy is correct - AMPTP has had a script from the start.

However, in their arrogance and smug self-assuredness, they made a couple of serious miscalculations. First, they did not account for the empowering effect of the internet on getting the truth out there and unifying strikers. Gone are the days where AMPTP controls all outlets of info. Furthermore, their old school bully tactics are an anachronism, and Counter is ineffective.

Don’t roll over now, WGA.

Are we conning ourselves or what? The AMPTP had a script. They wrote it and recited it page by page from the first day. They’re getting to the end of their script. The only question is, what happens then?
The last line of the script seems to say, “We build public and industry opinion against the writers, we give them a sop and they roll over without too much protest, and pretty soon we’ll have killed these unions and never have to deal with them again.”
Fade out.
