Everyone breathe. Here’s the truth. Will and Jada are doing something right. They have three great kids, they are a together family, and if their kids want to act, and if their kids are any good, then MORE POWER TO THEM.

I saw Pursuit of Happyness - and Jaden was fantastic
I saw Kit Kittredge and little Willow almost steals the entire movie when they reveal that she is a girl disguised as a boy hobo.

I hope to be entertained by Pinkett - Smith’s for generations!

The “smug sense of entitlement” comes from years and years of hard work before he became BIG WILLIE…you know, hard work along with success allows one to be smug, you know because they earned it. It’s the American way, pal…I think if you had worked your ass off for years and are now making 20 million a movie, you’d have a big smile plastered on your face as well, and people would be calling you smug and self important just like the people (haters) on this board seem to be doing.

In the end, who cares anyway. Live your life, ignore the haters and let success be your revenge.

Will Smith’s kids can do whatever they want as long as they know what they are getting into. With that said, Willow will likely beat Dad in the long run though she doesn’t star in her movie. The main reason for this reasoning is due to a rumor that Hancock’s ending doesn’t fit the rest of the movie. Still, I have to wait until Nikki reports the tracking numbers for this film.

The comments left on these boards is usually filled with hyperbole, but this is a new low. The jealously, vile and lack of perspective today is pretty sickening…

I’m usually against show biz parents whoring their kids around for movie parts, but this is clearly different. First of all, most show biz parents have to fight tooth and nail to get their sons and daughters a role and THAT is what fucks the kids up; seeing how ruthless their parents become just to get them a part in a movie to the point where they aren’t their parent anymore, they become their manager, or their publicist or whatever, just so they can fight their way to the top. The kids feel isolated, lonely and misunderstood until the local drug dealer makes them feel better, get the point?

But for Will Smith all it takes is a phone call or round of golf with whoever’s in charge and it’s done. He can and he does, and it’s done in a very healthy and productive way, which rubs off on the kids, keeping them fairly grounded.

So, um, chill out people. Jesus.

I think it was a really funny joke that keeps the family together. Will and Jada should be parental role models for keeping their kids with them and not at the nanny’s favorite juice bar. One thing I know for sure being a lack-key child myself is - if Jada wasn’t home with the kids the TV/Internet/PlayStation/Peers would be their constant addiction.

It’s in jest but to me it indicates a very creepy depth of perspective for a child that age that she even GETS the joke, as in, haha aren’t we all just ruthless animals out to kill one another as we whore for boxoffice dollars, hehe. And that Will finds it funny is gross too. Creeps me out. Shrinks and meds to follow when its dawns on them, why did you make me DO that, I was just a kid!

Jealous much. Will Smith is awesome. His kids, who I have met, are pretty down to earth. Get over yourself people. If you could put your relatives in your movies you would in a heartbeat. Who wouldn’t want their kids to follow in their footsteps. When my Dad was alive he would take me to work with him every now and then and it was cool. Will Smith is a really good guy who is raising a family in a very challenged society. We have all had nepotism in our lives. Some more apparent then others. Don’t be so jealous.

By the way, the Letterman interview was great. When he and Dave kissed, hysterical.
