Flyover guy's husband - I'm with you, some SG1 scripts are the best ever written for television or the movies .. and, from what I'm hearing, we're better off watching re-runs of SG1 than paying to see 10KBC.

Ok real box office guru, you show me bigger than expected final numbers for 10,000 BC against early predictions, and I'll sell you the entire state of North Dakota. This deal will include the badlands, and the skyscraper of the prairies which is our state capital. PS, the skyscraper is in Bismarck.

Don't forget that Jason Statham is highly popular with women action fans who wouldn't touch 10,000 B.C. Out of the 3 big openers, The Bank Job is the only one that interests any of the women I know. Hopefully they won't all be over at the art theatre watching Miss Pettigrew

This weekend, 10,000 BC will open bigger than expected. College Road Trip too. The Bank Job should've opened weekend of Mar. 14th against Doomsday which is doomed because Mad Max rocked and Mel's missing.

DOOMSDAY is not being shown to the press. Normally, not a big deal - standard operating procedure for trashy genre films these days.

However, geekdom loves Neil Marshall (so do most critics), which means that DOOMSDAY is most likey a huge stinker. Shocking, but holding this title back speaks very loudly.

My husband is going to see this movie. He thinks it looks "really good". But he thinks Stargate SG1 is good television.

Yeahhhhhhhh! Prognostications are back! Does this mean Hollywood has settled down to normal...somewhat? Good to see the weekend numbers are back.
