Republicans could care less about this movie (they have bigger fish to fry), and liberals spontaneously ejaculate when the Chicago 7 are ever mentioned. The bigger fact here is that is that this is a dull cliched topic that just reinforces H'wood's liberal image while simultaneously boring the rest of America to death. Count me among the millions who could care less if this movie is made... PS Munich the best movie of 2005? Give me a frickin' break. If you're handing out awards for dull, ponderous direction marinated in moral relativism, THEN we can talk... Political pressure? If he doesn't want to make it there has to be some outside political pressure on him. I think he regrets supporting Hillary instead of Barack and he doesn't want to do this movie precisely because it is very political. Steven should make this movie right now before the strike go fast and get it in theaters in October when the political landscape will be heightened for this story. Don't forget a director must help schedule the filming, and Speilberg must have seen something he didn't like, and that includes something that could force filming to be delayed including weather issues and so on.
