CW
The CW just gave Reaper a mid-season 13-episode renewal.
CBS
CBS renewed The Unit at an appropriate time: the drama series' cast is over in the Persian Gulf for a week to visit with U.S. soldiers. (See photos below). I hear Robert Patrick arranged the tour through the USO. He and other Unit actors Michael Irby, Max Martini, and Dennis Haysbert landed in Kuwait last Thursday to spend quality time with tropps. The actors are sharing stories about the show, signing autographs and posing for pictures.

A tip of the hat to Patrick and the work of the USO.

Thank You for posting this news Nikki. It is awesome to know that CBS is renewing The Unit, a top quality scripted program. And it’s no surprise that the cast members who are visitng troops in Iraq are there. They have always supported them. Cheers!

I’m hearing that Reaper may replace Smallville at midseason. Does this mean that Smallville won’t be getting the back nine?

Hey, hats off to all of the cast members that went. That is a long trip, with I am sure a level of danger involved.

I hope it is back for a long time, unlike my other favorite “Dead Like Me”. The unit does an excelent job of blending entertainment with real life conflicts. I am happy to see a televison series that promotes the trials of an enlisted person is allowed to continue. If you are wondering, no… I have never been military at any time. But, am eternally greatful to those who have defended my country and my freedom.

I would like to know when The Unit will air new episodes.

From what I have read there are no new episodes for season 3. We have to wait till season 4 starts in September. Season 3 DVD should be out in September as well—hopefully. That is what happened last season.
It looks like The Episode MP’s (season 3) will air the last Tuesday in May. Hopefully that’s true. Check you TV Guide for exact times and dates.
