Pellicano is going to be convicted of a hundred or so counts and be given a sentence that will ensure he spends the rest of his life in prison. It's then going to be up to him whether he wants to make a deal to have a chance of getting out in 15 years or so. If he does and turns against his former clients, then there will be a bunch of other prosecutions. Based on what he has said and done in the past, turning on his former clients is unlikely but the prospect of never seeing daylight again can break even the most stubborn. It’s very simple.
