The premise of the piece was that two enemies find newfound love for each other. If you followed the strike at all, both Dave Young and Nick Counter were so much at odds with each other that it would take an effort to get the real men together just to shake hands on the deal. BTW: Letterman's obsession with Diablo Cody's former life is just one of the kicks he goes on once in a while. But if you truly want creepy, just watch the 8:30 PM eastern reairing of The Colbert Report. That is much worse than two enemies kissing. Sorry tv fans, I thought it was shockingly funny. It's an insulated little boys club that amuses itself. Dave, once a hero, has become a bit creepy, a bit of a dirty old man. He never had to work blue and it doesn't become him. Also, he [or his writers] are a bit too obsessed with Diablo Cody having been a stripper. Creepy. Leno sucks worse, but we don't watch either show anymore.
