The writers for The Late Show with David Letterman have started to chronicle their experiences on strike. Under the category "Here's How You Can Tell You're Reading Too Much Strike Coverage..." they say, "You don't make any decisions without first checking with Nikki Finke." That's funny -- and sick.

Nikki, where would the strike be without your coverage? Thank you for the results and dedication.

And what are the intentions of the writer’s? What would they do with this money. Maybe provided the below the line people with a percential as well? I think not. Writers, producers, all one in the same.

I think you do a great job, but you also compliment yourself a lot. Let everyone else compliment you. There’s no shortage!

Nikki, you rock. Also, while that page is mostly humorous Bill Shreft provides a semi-serious paragraph that does a good job of explaining some of the issues involved. Thanks, Bill.
Anonymous, what we’d do with the money is use it to survive. Some of the btl people who’ve posted here have shared their salaries, and they make between 2 and 10 times more than many of us, if you want to talk about pooling resources and sharing some of that money as well, I’m all over it.
