For two days now, I was hearing that CAA was going to free some agents. Then I was told that CAA last night let go of as many as six agents, including four minorities. I was given names. But I may have jumped the gun on this. I'm still trying to get official confirmation by CAA one way or the other. So I want to be cautious. Meanwhile, I also hear that CAA will still be paying rent on the Beverly Hills' I.M. Pei building lease for quite a while even after the agency moves to its new Century City digs.
