Delaying the AFTRA/AMPTP talks sounds GREAT to me. It sounds like some real progress might be happening with SAG.

Funny, when the DGA started negotiating they were the worst people on the face of the earth for undercutting the WGA. Now AFTRA gives SAG some room, and of course they're wrong. Double standard much?

Maybe, just maybe, AFTRA's letting SAG - the stronger guild -finish its negotiation with the AMPTP first, which I've already said here I think is a good idea.

Doesn't this simply indicate that the discussions with SAG are going well and that an agreement is possible before the AFTRA negotiations start? It's only a one week delay. Doesn't sound like ineptitude or corruption to me but progress.

Once again,Nikki, you're showing your true colors. You're making another anti-AMPTP comment, calling them and AFTRA idiots.

The move makes sense if the SAG negotiations are continuing apace, which this would seem to suggest. Delaying AFTRA another week suggests that the SAG negotiations are going along and they want to hold off on AFTRA in the hopes of progress.

Take it at face value, stop your rabble-rousing. You did enough damage with the WGA. Haven't you and your readers learned their lesson?
